(Honiara, Solomon Islands) The 2023 Pacific Games announced today that Unilever, the consumer goods multinational, is an official bronze sponsor and the official consumer packaged goods partner for the mega sporting event set to take place in Honiara, Solomon Islands between November 19 and December 2, 2023.

As part of this sponsorship, Unilever will provide a range of beauty and personal care products including shampoo, deodorants and skincare, to be included in welcome packs for participating athletes and officials at the Games. In addition, sports fans visiting the games venue can enjoy a free hair makeover at the Sunsilk booth and customise their own Magnum ice creams.

Serving over 3.4 billion consumers everyday across 190 countries, Unilever is the maker of iconic brands like Sunsilk, Rexona and Magnum, with more than 400 brands across Beauty & Well Being, Personal Care, Home Care, Nutrition and Ice Cream categories.

Spearheaded by Unilever International – Unilever’s global business unit and whitespace partner, the association aims to support athletes from far and wide; aligning with its purpose to ‘serve the underserved.’

2023 XVII Pacific Games (Sol2023)
The Pacific Games is the biggest continental multi-sport event held every four years amongst athletes from Oceania. The Pacific Games Council (PGC) organizes the Games and oversees the host city’s preparations.

This year’s Pacific Games (Sol2023) will see over 5000 athletes and team officials representing 24 Pacific Island countries and territories come to the Solomon Islands to compete in 24 Sports Competitions over two weeks (November 19th to December 2nd, 2023).
