11 to compete in Sol2023 Speech Finale

A total of 11 High School students have been selected out of more than 20 entry submissions to compete in the Sol2023 Pacific Games Speech Competition Grand Final which will take place at the Friendship Multipurpose Hall, Sunday 6th August, 2023.

A total 29 written submissions were received, whilst 11 were selected to compete in both the Junior and Senior Categories.

The 11 finalists include four from Saint Joseph Tenaru school, two from Betikama Adventist College, two from Saint Nicholas, two from Selwyn College and one from Ilia Community High School.

The Junior Category five finalists include:
• Olivette Kelly (Saint Joseph Tenaru School)
• Martha Fulaga (Betikama Adventist College)
• Leaba Korovo (Saint Nicholas School)
• Joyline Lubata (Ilia Community High School)
• Annlucy Baragamu (Selwyn College)

The Senior Category finalists include:
• Christy George (Selwyn College)
• Wilson Katova (Betikama Adventist College)
• Mirriam Bobby (Saint Nicholas School)
• Anthony Rikimae (Saint Joseph Tenaru School)
• Cathy Silvia Tosasai (Saint Joseph Tenaru School)
• Mary Rausi (Saint Joseph Tenaru School)

The Speech Contest final will start 1pm tomorrow (Sunday 6th August, 2023).
