Medals up for grabs in table tennis, weightlifting, and swimming on Thursday

As the Sol2023 Pacific Games enters its fourth day, more medals are up for grabs across three sports.

Thursday’s schedule includes 12 medal events in weightlifting, eight in swimming, and four in table tennis, underscoring the diverse and remarkable accomplishments within each sporting category.

These ceremonies have underscored the exceptional performances and achievements of athletes participating in the event thus far.

Godfrey Koli from the Games Organising Committee confirmed the issuance of a total of 81 medals for the sport of weightlifting in the first three days of competition. An additional 12 medals are slated for presentation during Thursday’s victory ceremonies.

Sports that have seen medal ceremonies so far include weightlifting, swimming, tennis, table tennis, judo, archery, and rugby league 9s. These ceremonies stand as emblematic acknowledgments of excellence within each respective sporting discipline.
