Only three days into the Sol2023 Pacific Games, Sport City ticket passes have already sold out, the Games Organising Committee (GOC) confirmed on Wednesday. However, single day tickets are still available.

The sold-out Sport City passes were priced at $500 SBD and allowed access to all sports within the complex for the duration of the Games.

However, $30 SBD day tickets offering access to all Sport City sports – basketball, rugby 7s, rugby league 9s, swimming, volleyball, tennis, football, athletics, boxing, netball, triathlon and taekwondo – are still available from Sol2023 ticket booths for each remaining day of the Games.

The Sport City passes are the second ticket type to be sold out at Sol2023, following the Opening Ceremony.

GOC Ticketing Sales Clerk Clifton Kouto said: “Sports City ticket passes are now all sold out. We’ve had the final ones purchased and collected today.”

However, he confirmed that other ticket types are still available including General Admission tickets at $30, Fantastic Friday and Super Saturday tickets at $100, a pass for all venues at $1000 and Closing Ceremony tickets at $200.

“Tickets can be purchased at designated ticket booths at SIFF Academy, Sport City, Lawson Tama and Maranatha Hall,” he added.

Meanwhile other venues offer free entry, including DC Park, Honiara Golf Course and HCC Arena.
