To ensure that the Materials and Equipment required to plan and execute the Games are identified, purchased, received, issued, delivered, recovered and disposed at the required time. For each functional area of the organization and for each venue at Games time, Logistics will provide the following centralized functions: • Shipping • Receiving and Asset control • Warehousing • Recovery and Disposal.
