SOL2023 games locations across Honiara
Solomon Islands will welcome 5,000 athletes and officials from across the region competing at 12 venues. All hosting stakeholders look forward to the excitement of the Pacific Games in 2023.
Sport venues sites of the SOL2023 Pacific Games are conveniently located and easily within 5-30 minutes from one another. We encourage visitors to use this Google map to help find their way around.
The following is a partial list of prohibited or restricted items and activities:
• Alcohol | Consuming any alcohol or alcoholic beverage outside designated areas.
• No smoking on premises.
• No Chewing Betelnut.
• Illegal narcotics | Drugs (other than prescribed medication).
• Dangerous goods (chemical).
• Weapons, knives, firearms, ammunition, explosives.
• Fireworks, gas canisters, spray canisters/paint, flares, irritant, incendiary devices, or any imitations or replicas.
• Animals unless registered service/working animal.
• Devices capable of causing a disturbance (flash photography, horns, lasers, whistles, etc.)
• Drones.
• Items that may obstruct view (banners, large flags, signs etc.).
• Items which can be thrown and interrupt competition or event (balls, frisbees, etc.)
• Non-accredited audio or video equipment with a removable lens being brought into the venue for the purposes of broadcast.
• Any bags being brought into venues may be subject to a bag check.
Main Stadium
The Main Stadium also known as the National Stadium.
The National Stadium can accommodate 10,000 Spectators is located East of Honiara next to the King George V1 National Secondary School.
Friendship Hall
The newly built National Friendship Hall will host indoor sports and can accommodate 1,500 spectators.
It has an Emergency Bay, Conference room, Media room for live commentary of matches and a VIP room.
National Tennis Court
Competition will run for fourteen days in the first week of the Games, One of the few sports that has both team competition and individual competition.
Honiara Golf club
The Honiara Golf club will host only the Golf Sport, it is situated at Ranadi opposite the National Institute of Sports (SINIS) and the National Stadium.
Golf Sport will run for six days.
HCC Sports Precinct
The Honiara City Council Sports Precinct (HCC ) is a facility that accommodates Basketball, Boxing, and Football at the Lawson Tama football Stadium.
Maranatha Hall
The Maranatha Hall will host; Body Building, Power lifting and Weight Lifting.
It is a walking distance to the National Stadium and the Sports Village.
Aquatic Center
The Aquatic Center will host the Swimming Sports.
It is a walking distance to the National Stadium and the Sports Village at King George.
DC Park
The DC Park will host the following sports; Archery, Touch Rugby, Sailing, Open Swimming , Va’a/Kayak.

The Solomon Island Football Federation (SIFF) will host the Soccer pool matches and Beach Volleyball.
