The National Hosting Authority (NHA) was established under PG2023 Act 2017 as the 2023 Pacific Games Hosting Authority to oversee the functions of the committees established under the Act such as the Games Organizing Committee, Games Facilities Committee and the NHA Secretariat.

NHA’s role is overall oversight of the 2023 Pacific Games through ensuring the obligation of the Solomon Islands Pacific Games Association and the Government under the host contract are discharged, as well as to conduct the financial planning and budgeting for the Games.

Which aims to ensure key integration between government services, venues and construction. NHA also ensures that the Pacific Games 2023 Act (2017) and its provisions are carried out and enforced.
