The Games Organizing Committee hosted a Business Meeting after 5 (BA5) on Friday, 18th November, last week, for its Corporate Entities in collaboration the Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Speaking during the welcome remarks Mrs. Natalie Hong, thanked all sponsors and hosts for taking part in hosting the B.A-5 throughout this year. She highlighted that the first B.A-5 was hosted by GOC again GOC is hosting the last one for the year.
GOC’S Chief Executive Officer, Peter Stewart did an informative presentation to the attendees at the B.A-5 with also a brief appearance from SOLO the Games Mascot.
The B.A-5 is a key event for the Chamber (SICCI) not only for networking but to get accurate information from organizations and Development partners who support the private sectors.
This year SICCI membership has grown up to a total of 220.
The event was attended by representative from New Zealand High commission, Diplomatic Corp and Heads of Businesses at Heritage park hotel.
